New Light Church is a new congregation established May 11, 2003.
In following the teachings and ministry of Jesus Christ, which was not bound to man-made denominations, ideas, and who’s ministry was for all men, The New Light Church is a non-denominational church. However, we do follow, to some degree, the Baptist doctrine. See what we believe.
New Light Church is affiliated with The Baptist General Convention of Texas and the Dallas Baptist Association. |

What We Believe
- The Bible is the true and trustworthy Word of God and without error
- The Bible was written by men who were under the direct inspiration of God and the Holy Spirit
- The Holy Trinity – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit
- Baptism – which symbolizes the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ
- The Lord’s Supper – along with Baptism, a sacred ordinance given to the church, to remember the death of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. It is to be done until He returns.
- The church is a body of Baptized Believers united together and following the divine direction of the Holy Spirit, taking the message of Christ to the world.
- Christ as the head of the church. Pastors are the overseers and are not only responsible for the overall direction of the church but biblical teachings as well.
- Every member has been endowed by God with gifts that are to be used for the building of God’s Kingdom and the edification of the Church body
